Spring in a cup! Zingy, warming and bright yellow. The perfect afternoon pick me up.
For 1 cup
Put all this goodness into a heatproof jug
1 Tablespoon grated ginger root
1 Tablespoon grated tumeric root
1 or 2 slices of lemon
Juice of half a lemon
Pour on 1 cup of boiling water and sit a plate on top. Let it steep for a few minutes.
Strain into a cup and add a spoon of honey.
