I have big news for you, dear gardeners – we’re selling up. We’ve had 15 divine years in this beautiful little corner of the world, and now its time to share it.
This place needs a family – there’s such an abundance of food here, and even more coming on stream as nuts and citrus develop. Its a mad amount for just Matt and I, and besides, were ready for our next adventure. We have fun plans, but gosh, it’s going to be hard leaving our handmade house, our wonderful community and all my gardens – my heart and soul are in this place, but at 51 – if I’m going to go, now’s the time.
And because we’d love for an organic soul to carry on where we left off, and because so many of you have said to me “If you ever sell, let me know …”, I’m advertising it to you first.
Leaving this place, doesn’t mean the end of Edible Backyard though. I love my little biz – its coming with me! And I can, after all, write and consult from anywhere. We’ll still be getting together on the first of each month, to grow our soil + vegies + fruits in the smartest and most natural of ways.
Life is good, my friends – let’s leap into it before its gone!
