May is our month to get ready for planting trees – planting season is my favourite! I'm always pumped to add more fruits and nuts, improve shelter and support our soils to be great - plant power is the way!

I've made you up a handy checklist to help you choose which planting projects to do, and some tips on getting ready + set to go. Such a small window for planting - lets make the most of it.

If you're lucky enough to have a persimmon tree, you're in heaven this month. Try drying some... such an exquisite fruit. Take the nets off the tree when you've had your fill and leave a few for wax eyes – a sweet treat to say thankyou for being such sweethearts, and for all the aphid/ caterpillar gobbling.
